Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors, has announced the appointment of Eric Bjornholt as VP Finance. Eric Bjornholt is vice president of Finance. He is responsible for overseeing Microchip’s tax, SEC reporting, treasury, supply management and other financial-reporting activities. Additionally, he is Microchip’s corporate secretary and played a lead role in the recent completion of the Company’s $1.15 billion junior convertible transaction.
