Well, my department just had gone through restructure, and made three people redundant. (in fact, whole company is making people redundant as of today)
Although I knew that my position was relatively save (due to the fact that I am the only person who manages the Citrix farm and help implement several cost savings) but it is not happy chappy feeling to see people walk out of the building.
And, you know, its just days before Christmas and fact that there are hardly any jobs out there makes me wonder how these people will cope in coming time.
Not my problem? Probably not, and I really hate to be in their positions as well.
But again I cant get rid of the feeling that makes me worry/sad that we had to let of the colleagues and I can be next any time.
